Morgan Sindall

Hackney Council wanted to replace the outdated Britannia Leisure Centre and create a brand-new secondary school and sixth form. They commissioned Morgan Sindall to carry out this iconic project. The site presented some challenges, as the works took place in two distinct areas. Time-Lapse Solutions was brought in to capture the progress of the project using two cameras. One camera was a 180-degree camera, which provided a wide-angle view of the site. The other camera was a standard camera, which was used to capture close-up details of the construction. The time-lapse film was particularly impressive because it showed the transformation of the site over time. The City of London could be seen in the background, and the wide field of view offered by Shoreditch Park allowed viewers to see the entire project from start to finish. The project took several years to complete, but the time-lapse film was sensational. It is often used as an example of how to do time-lapse photography really well.
