Flying a drone in Leicester Square is no small matter. First and foremost, you need to get permission to fly there in the first place. That is not easy. Secondly there are a lot of people about. And that is a safety issue. Not every drone company is allowed to do this. You need an OSC – an operating safety case license. These are only awarded to those companies that have demonstrated extraordinary safety and flying skills. So when the Hippodrome and their partner Newman Designs wanted a drone flight around the Hippodrome so that they could design a scaffold wrap whilst the Hippodrome was renovated, they need a company that could do this. And Drone Solutions can. A few days after our first conversation, they had the images they needed. And now scaffold wrap is in place. It is impressive, dominates Leicester Square and the Hippodrome is delighted.
