Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery

The Prax Group’s Lindsey Oil Refinery, located in Immingham, is one of the UK’s key energy facilities, with the capacity to process up to 109,000 barrels of oil per day. As part of a major upgrade, the refinery was installing critical new equipment — a complex and high-risk operation requiring careful documentation for both project records and future reference.

Given the challenging industrial environment, strict health and safety procedures, and limited access to power, Time-Lapse Solutions provided a bespoke solar-powered camera system to ensure continuous, safe, and reliable recording throughout the project.

Our specialist team worked closely with Prax’s on-site safety and engineering teams to install cameras on the refinery’s flare stacks — some of the tallest and most visually striking structures on site. From these elevated positions, the cameras captured extraordinary footage of the installation, both day and night, providing a unique perspective of one of the UK’s most important energy facilities.

The resulting time-lapse films not only serve as a valuable visual record for Prax’s engineering and safety teams but also as a powerful piece of documentation demonstrating precision, coordination, and professionalism in one of the most demanding industrial environments in the country.
